Yes you guessed it Cameryn has yet another double ear infection. The doctors wont put tubes in her ears until shes had 6 in one year, I guess 5 isnt enough when shes had 3 in the last month and a half. Now they are cleared up I think, shes feeling better anyways. Hopefully they dont come back!!!! The worse part about her getting these ear infections is that shes always in pain and now we have to start all over with breaking her of wanting that 2 am bottle. Its so hard! With her ear infections she was miserable and wouldnt eat anything so when she would wake up about every 4 hours (her fever would come back and would need tylenol) she would be starving but not really wanna eat anything, so we gave her a bottle which is was she wanted. She wants a bottle at that time even now. UHG seems like everytime we get her retrained she gets sick and it gets ruined! My sister thinks she should be off the bottle but she only gets one when she is going to bed, she doesnt walk around with a bottle, we take her sucky away unless shes in bed. Uhg when is the time to break those habits???? Its easier said than done! Well enough with Cams ear infections........Saturday Cam was feeling better so Erik and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings (one of my favorite places besides the Olive Garden!) to watch the UNC/Duke game! We met up with Scott, Dave,Jookie, a couple of Scotts friends, Megs, and Matt and Renea. The Tarheals prevailed and won the game, then we headed to the Sky bar in Tea. Well it was a super nice little bar, little is an understatment BUT it was so nice it was like a mini resort. It was fun until we went to the Sky bar cuz I of course was the sober driver and they were all pretty drunk! It was nice to get out for a bit though! SkyForce Game

Saturday night the entire Sommervold family (Grandma, Grandpa, John, Tonia, Tess, Craig, Micah, Erik, Cameryn, and I) met at Applebee's in Sioux Falls. Grandma Michelle got some tickets to the Skyforce game from work, so we all went together. I met them at Applebees right after work! My team lead made fun of me cuz I did my hair and makeup while I was on the phone! Hey I wasnt going to get up that much earlier to do my hair and make up! We went to the game, we had the special olympic people in front of us. Wow do I commend those people who work with them! What a responsibility! They had an absolute ball!! They were dancing and yelling! It was nice to see that people take the time to take those special people out to games! You know that they talk about that for a very long time! The skyforce won the game! Its very hard to pay much attention when you have an antsy 1 year old! I took her out walking for a little while but then she wiped out and smoked her cheak and eyebrow on the cement. I thought with how hard she hit that she would start bleeding. Micah was so funny at the game! The wolf "Thunder" the Sky Forces mascot he was Always looking for him saying "bear, bear, bear". If he couldnt find him he was looking the whole time! The pig from Famous Daves was walking around and he loved the "pig" too! Cameryn wasnt so into the mascots, she just liked watching all the people and the game somewhat. She likes to play magical "laps". She bounces between peoples laps. Grandma brought reeces peices, skittles and then we got popcorn at the game. I didnt take as many pictures as I wanted to, I forget that theres really no room for anything and its impossible to do anything like take pictures when Cameryns around because she always wants the camera too! The Fun never ends!

Poor poor little Cammy. She has been fighting an ear infection since the first part of Feburary..... the first day I spilt her antibiotic all over the floor. That was the second time I've spilt an antibiotic for her....so they changed it and put her on something else. Erik had to take her back in about a week or so later because she had a fever and they had to change the antibiotic because she had an infection in both ears and it was not clearing up! So they put her on something different, so it turns out that shes allergic to yet another anitbiotic...anything that is a cephprosporan or something like that. Any antibiotic that has Ceph in it is something that she cant have. So basically she can just have a handful of antibiotics that she may be able to have. So now we have to deal with her having the hives, BUT her ear infections have cleared up.....if its not one thing its another. Its kind of scary knowing that there are so many antibiotics that she CANT have. Amoxil and the cephs..... they said thats not something she will grow out of either. Well I guess we are lucky that she only got the hives and that her breathing or anything serious like that has been effected by her allergy to medicine. Cam seems to be happier now but like is said the Fun never ends and shes got a whole slew of teeth breaking through. It shouldnt be too much longer and all of her teeth will be in, she just needs all 4 eye teeth to break through, and I think that theres one more molar thats not completely through. I havent put my finger into that venus fly trap in a while, the last time I did I thought I was going to start bleeding she bit me so hard. We brush her teeth like a big girl every night. She picked out a big girl tooth brush with Dora the Explorer on it and we got her Dora tooth paste too. I think she just liked the pretty purple and blue colors on the tooth brush! Havent really taken any new pictures so I'll be sure to get some new ones up soon!

Valentines Day

Happy belated Valentines Day!!! I must say Erik did an awesome job this year and I thought he was going to completly blow it off! I was so proud of myself because I really thought about what to get him that he would actually like, cuz he wouldnt want chocolate, flowers, teddy bears, ect so I decided on a video game that he loves to play and the guide that goes with it. I was so proud of myself and when I told him thats what I got he was like ohhh thanks! But I already have that one. Well so much for that idea! Now hes just going to pick something else out. So on V-day he didnt even call or text me at work to tell me Happy Valentines Day. I was not so happy about that. People at work were getting flowers and balloons and all I could think of was my husband didnt even say happy valentines day. After work I had to get my wedding ring into the jewlers to make sure it was in every 6 months so that they cover it if anything happens so we were a little late getting home than normal. I walked into the apartment and he had supper on the table!!!! Along with 2 roses and a little teddy bear. On the drive home Michelle had mentioned he called and asked where you find heavy whipping cream. That right there completly flabbergasted me! Why would Erik need heavy whipping cream?!?! It turns out that he needed it for Zupa soup, ya know the one you get at the Olive garden with the sausage and potatoes in it?! Erik had brought the Olive Garden home and made it all himself! After hearing all of his adventures in preparing the meal, that made the soup that much more special. He is not exactly Mr. Cook. So he had a few struggles while cooking. He had to figure out what a clove of garlic was because he cut the first garlic uplike and onion and knew that wasnt right! He also about cut off his finger in the process. I think it was the best valentines day ever! He worked so hard and it showed! Ok enough with Valentines day.......Cameryn has been battling an ear infection in her right ear for about 2 weeks. She has been on antibiotics for it and it did not work cuz now shes got a double ear infection. The doctor told Erik that if it doesnt go away or if she keeps getting them she might have to have tubes put in her ears. Hopefully she gets better!!! We have been battling a fever with the ear infection too so thats NOT FUN!!!! Erik had been putting in applications for jobs in different schools, so far hes got two in I believe. Wausa, NE (they are the Vikings and have the EXACT same mascot as the MN Vikings, YUK!) and Beresford also has an opening! There are some other openings so far, I know Harrisburg has lots of openings but who knows this is early for teacher openings for he fall. Until next time........

Why Hello again!

Not a whole lot has been going on lately. Just work, work, basketball games, and Cameryn! What i would give for a tropical vacation for a week or two! Erik and I decided we need to win the lottery, but then he came to the realization that i could quit my job but he would still have to attend school! He cant quit now, hes too far into it! Cameryn has been growing like a weed. She had her one year check up Wednesday and she is taller than 100% of girls her age, in the 90% in weight, and her head circumfrence is in the 80% which i really dont get! She had also been not feeling very well, we've had quite the cuddle bug on our hands lately! She wouldnt eat anything and anything she ate she would throw up, now we know she got another ear ache. She doesnt let us know when her ears hurt. She doesnt pull on them at all and the last time she had an ear ache she had a pretty bad fever. Her hair is really starting to come in, yet she doesnt have barely any hair at all. I cant wait until she can have a little piggy tail! She got to pick out her first big girl tooth brush, there were 2 different sponge bob and one dora the explorer so she pick dora! We got her, her very own big girl tooth paste too! She loves it when i help her brush her teeth! She doesnt understand the whole spitting thing but i dont think that that is really a bad thing, i really dont want her to think that spitting is something that is ok for her to do. She thinks shes pretty big stuff though! Some more big news, Erik and our friend Dave have a bet to quit smoking/chewing. It has been almost 2 weeks I think. Poor Dave is struggling but hes a truck driver and has nothing else to do in his truck. Erik seems to be doing pretty well. He has stated that this is the easiest that it has ever been for him so hopefully its for good! He chews alot of gum! We also recently discovered Guitar Hero 3 with Daves Wii. WOW that is FUNNNNNN! I always thought ppl were dumb for playing that but wow was i wrong! Its so much fun! We are all on easy but Dave is rocking it on hard in some songs. We had a mini super bowl party at Daves, we had lots and lots of food! It was the first Super Bowl that I ever watched start to finish!I was definatly going for the giants! Well thats it for now, heres some updated pictures!

Ohh yea I forgot

Thought I would share that I completley wacked my hair off! Erik didnt like my long hair so I chopped it all off. Its hard to see in some pics but you can see it! Also Cameryn has gotten 4 more teeth. The ones towards the back are through the skin! Poor little thing!

Finally some new updates

We finally have the internet again!!! YAY!! Well it has been a busy busy month. We still had Christmas' the first two saturdays of January, well except we actually went to Missouri to help Celebrate Cindy and Kevins wedding. It was a small ceremony in their house and it was a very nice little ceremony!!! Cameryn was pretty good for the trip, thats a long way to travle with a one year old who is a go getter ALL THE TIME! For her to sit for that long is quite honestly unbelievable! Since that trip she screams in the car even just to the grocery store and back. She's going through a very naughty stage! She has always been a perfect little angel until recently. Shes starting to get her own attitude and thinks things should go the way she wants! So far it hasnt been too terribly bad at the basketball games. She just basically eats the whole time! The Sommervold Christmas at Angie and Waynes was a lot of fun! The stinky smell of lukafisk was just nasty but Karen, Martin, and Great Grandpa Morris (or as Brooklyn started the Great Morris, I think that will probably stick for him! All the great grandkids calling him Great Morris!) they all really enjoy the lutafisk. Cameryn has been growing so fast. She now says "Pretty" its more like the "p" sound and the "ty" sound, but she knows that is pretty. Shes been working on puppy but she hasnt quite gotten that completely out. You can tell shes trying to get words out but she cant quite get them out. Well that does it for now!!
