V-I-C-T-O-R-Y for the Cougars
Last night the Viborg-Hurley Cougars got their second win of the season for football! You should hear Erik talk about football....It honestly never stops! I can look at him sometimes and just say, "Your thinking about football arent you". He just looks at me smiles and says, "yea." Then starts telling me some of what he's thinking about. I try so hard to understand offense and defense terminology but its like another language, i just dont get it most the time! I just try hard to understand it and let him talk. I love he is so passionate about it. Hopefully they can get working really hard and beat all their easy teams and the harder ones too.

Kids are alot of work but totally worth it....
I took some pics of the kids with every intention of getting some developed since I havent gotten any done at all of Jaxon yet....whoops hes almost 8 months. These didnt turn out the best, some arent centered cuz i had to tell cam to look at me and not the squirrels or trees or whatever, Jaxon wasnt feeling very well so he wouldnt really look at me, so yea but here they are.....

So I decided on my day off to run to SuFu to get a few things.....My thought process was get my running done and spend some quality time with the kids. So I got the kids up, fed them breakfast and laid Jaxon down for a nap and started to get Cam and me ready. After the fact I realized that just cuz Jaxon got a nap that he wouldnt be super happy the rest of the day cuz it was his morning nap and then Cameryn wouldnt get a nap at all. So we head to town and first stop, Hobby Lobby, Erik needs some boarders for his bulletin boards in his classroom. I dont know what it is about that store that makes kids scream but I remember my little sister screaming everytime mom went to that store too. He wailed until I finally said fine whatever we are leaving. So I left my cart with a few items I had picked up for me and just walked out. Never did find the boarders for Erik. Next stop the mall, I figured Jaxon would do much better in his stroller watching people. Well he screamed for a few minutes until I sat down and tried to calm him down 3 nasty burps later he was way more content, you could totally tell he had banana something for breakfast.......I know TMI. sorry. So Cam and I ate Culvers and started shoppin. Erik wanted a white tie but I refuse to spend $30 on ONE TIE, so I found 3 for $20 in different pastel colors. We still had to go to Target and Walmart and Jaxon fell asleep in the mall so at least he got a little afternoon nap, but by this time Cam's skipped nap was becoming noticable. I couldnt even bribe her with ice cream and a necklace to have her listen. Target was a quick trip, they over charged me $2 a can for formula, and I got 2 of them a couple days before, so i was getting my refund dangit! Hopefully that doesnt mean that the formula is going up in price.....we will see. So by the end of the trip at walmart too i was spent. Cameryn about got ran over by people pushing carts at least a dozen times, she tripped over her own feet and went flying to her belly and slid (not gonna lie I chuckled pretty good at that one!), and about got lost a couple times cuz she wandered away. I really do enjoy shopping all by myself for groceries and stuff. So I guess at least i got my stuff done though.

Finally a little update.
Wow. So Its been over a year since I have updated and said, Im going to try to update more! Well so much for that. So now Cameryn is 3 1/2 years old, the 'new addition' Jaxon is now 7 months old soon to be 8 months old. I'll start with the youngest and work my way through the family for a little update.

Jaxon is a week from being 8 months. A month ago he couldnt barely scoot across the floor but now he scoots to get somewhere "quicker" but he can crawl on his hands and knees, pull himself to the sitting position, pull himself up to stand and walk around things. Boy we are gonna be in trouble. His helmet situation is coming closer to an end thank goodness. After the new year hopefully that helmet will be long gone and just a memory. He is quite the handful but from what Ive heard from talking to other moms is that #2 is way more work! Boy that was an understatement. He is such a ham though. When his chubby cheeks turn up and you see those two bottom pearly whites and his face light up you cant help but smile back at him! :)
Cameryn is a little princess. She prances around in dress up clothes and heals. Boy you wanna see a little girl run in heals, this girl has got it down! She is such a girly girl. She loves to wear dresses, play pretend, and loves her babies. The only non-girly thing she really is into is she loves her basketball and football, but being he coaches kid and seeing her Daddy watch sports all the time that is bound to happen. She talks a million miles a minutes and it never stops! Its hard to believe how grown up she is already.
Erik is starting his 3rd year teaching in Hurley, he is the assistant basketball and assistant football coach. He is already in football mode. I can look at him almost any time and tell hes thinking about football plays. The Viborg-Hurley (newly consolidated for athletics) got their first victory in Gayville last week. I guess the girls took 1st in a volleyball tourney in Estilline (I think thats where it was?!) I truely believe that teaching is totally Eriks calling. He goes through moments for frustration but he doesnt seem to dislike work ever. As of now the plan is for him to start the PDC program to earn his masters next year. Basically he still gets his salary, gets a discount on his tuition, mentors 2 new teachers, and earn his masters. Obviously I would think there are some classes or something but thats stuff that hes still working out.
We actually just celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. Insane! I cant believe its 3 years! But I guess in comparison to the years we've been together its pretty small! 8 years. :) I just made a big change as well. I am now working at the Sanford Hospital in the ICU. Sometimes the rotating 12 hour shifts are hard but totally worth it on the days that I have alot of time to spend with the kids. I LOVE that! I have really come to appreciate everyday that I have with my children and my husband. I love the days spent with our family too. Life is to short to not enjoy it! Im full of love today, sitting here in my sweatpants and tshirt.

Hello. once again!
Ok so its been a while.....well close to a year. We just finally got internet at home and now i should be able to update stuff a little more regularly! I need to work on getting pics all uploaded again so hopefully soon pics will be up as well!!!! Well here is a quick update!!!!
Cameryn is growing up sooooo fast. She is now potty trained!!! WHOOOO HOO! She has her occassional accident but its going awesome! She loves her Tinkerbell panties and shes got My Little Pony, Princesses, and i cant remember what the other ones are. She is speaking amazingly and her imagination is really starting to take off! She is getting good at saying her words correctly, shes kind of anal about that! For the longest time she said her name Cameryn Andress Somerdod, but now shes got it down and correct. The one thing that she cannot say very well is Lasagna, its BaaZana. She also is pretty excited now that we are expecting a new addition to the family in january. Her first reaction to the news was "NOOOOO I dont want a baby brother or sister". I couldnt help but laugh. Now shes pretty excited, but she thinks she has a baby in her tummy and that daddy also has one inside his. So now she is not upset about it at all and kind of excited. Not that she fully understands it but close enough! haha. She is all the sudden a non stop chatter box of stuff that actually make sense most the time, and you should see the girl run! WOW. She's pretty fast, but i think shes gonna be alot like her daddy, running 100 miles an min and straight into alot of stuff. Shes gonna get hurt alot i think!
Erik is working at the Hurley school for the summer again. Soon the basketball and football camps will be starting. He has started a new trend in Hurley, 2-3 nights a week he has a bunch of guys working themselves into the dirt! They have been running and doing fun little work outs! They all complain about it but they all show up everytime and are happy when they get finished i guess. Then the other nights during the week he usually has open gym for the kids to play basketball! I dunno how he has these kids actually staying active this summer but its good! Hopefully it will pay off when the seasons start!
I am working at Billion, trying to keep up with Cam and Erik! I started making jelwery a while back but have taken a break. its difficult with a 2 1/2 yr old trying to help and ends up dumping little beads all over the floor! uhg what a mess. And as you gathered from the first part we are expecting another addition in January! I am already getting big at 12 weeks and feeling movement which is pretty uncommon, but even the doctor had a hard time keeping a good listen of the heart beat because "it" was moving so much! So this basketball season should be interesting! The assistant basketball coach Jesse and his wife are expecting in December so we will have our kids and new borns at the games! lol. until the next post, toodles.

Graduation!!!!!!!
He finally did it, Erik is officially graduated from college!!! How many graduating teachers have a job before they actually graduate!??!?! Erik has been pretty excited trying to get everything going for baskeball season, yes hes already thinking basketball! This saturday we celebrated his graduation, boy was it a busy weekend. We had a get-together to celebrate at his parents house. Afterwards we headed down town to have a few drinks. Boy was it a fun night! We just had a small group of people but it was a ton of fun! This coming weekend we have Tonia's Bachelorette party and bridal shower. Two weekends in a row for me to go out, you know how long its been since I've been out two weekends in a row?! We are now on the search for a place to live. We want to live in Hurley so we are close but its a very small town and more options to buy than to rent so we will see what happens, thats my most recent stressor in my life! Daycare and a place to rent are the big things to concentrate on for us right now. Summer is starting and i am excited for that!!!
